Jesus Squad Youth Ministry Fall Program

We are excited to share with you our new programs for Jesus Squad Youth Ministry this fall.  There are a lot of opportunities to meet new friends, hang-out, pray, sing or play music and connect with God.  Click here to see the flyer for Fall Youth Ministry Program Information

Thank you to all of the youth and adults who contributed to planning this program!  Your input was carefully considered and we crafted some new events based on your ideas.  We will have an Instagram page where you can keep up-to-date with all of our activities.   There are three primary programs:

  • Youth Band from 11:30-12:30 on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month
  • “Way to Live” gathering with brunch on Sundays after church from 11:30-1:30, leaders are Rev. Sonya and Matt Batkin  (October 7th and November 4th)
  • “Faith Unplugged”  evening prayer and acoustic music on Sunday evenings from 5-5:30 – can’t come to church Sunday morning?  This is a short worship service led by you with assistance from Andrew Maloney!   BUT WAIT- there is more!  “Fireside Chats” and dinner from 5:30-7 p.m. led by Amy Daust and Vince Maloney with special guest Rev. Sean Cox.  You get to ask Rev. Sean your toughest questions about God, the Bible, church etc.  He must respond in less than 5 minutes and you get to “gong” him if he goes off topic, does not answer your question, or goes on too long.  Go ahead, try to stump the rector!  (September 30th and October 21st)
Our first fun activity is September 15th – “Making Cookies with the Master.”  Make cookie dough and bake cookies from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.  Cookie dough will be sold to the congregation as a fundraiser for our Community Gift Tree outreach.  Click here to view the Evite and RSVP

Our program kick-off is Sunday, September 16th with games and lunch at the church followed by swimming at the El Dorado Hills pool.
