Holy Week Schedule Addendum

Holy Week schedule is enclosed in this bulletin.  Put it on your ‘fridge!  There are extras in the rotunda to share with a friend.  Good Friday noon service at Foothill United Methodist Church on Green Valley Rd.

 

Children’s Lent Outreach

Our children’s programs are collecting the following items in the church Rotunda to be given to the Mustard Seed School for homeless children, part of the ministry of Loaves and Fishes in Sacramento:

· New raincoats (sized preschool through adult)

· New sweat pants and shirts (sized preschool through adult)

· New craft supplies

· Healthy snacks (in bulk or individually wrapped)

 

Young Adult Fellowship

If you are 18 - 20-something and single, you are invited to the Young Adult Fellowship on Sun. April 6 12:30 - 2:30 p.m. in Big Room A/D.  Great food will be provided.

 

Faith Church Supports the Upper Room 

If you are able to help, here are the current needs of the Upper Room Dining Room: elbow macaroni, penne pasta, tea, cheeses of any kind, ham, sausage, kielbasa, canned chili.  Donations may be brought to the Upper Room (1868 Broadway, Placerville)  M-F 1-5:30 p.m. S/S 3-5:30 p.m. Other arrangements may be calling Cheryl at 530-621-7730.  Also looking for substitute shift leads and servers on the 2nd and 4th Mondays.

 

Knitted and Crocheted Infant Caps

John Ramey took 50 Mad Hatter’s infant caps on his most recent mission trip.  If you’d like yarn to make these caps, which reduce infant mortality, please contact Susan Salluce at 677-8043.

 

Mission Potluck - April 6 - 6:00 p.m.

Highlighting the Honduras Mission, Sierra Service Project trips and Rebuilding Together.  Bring a dish to share.
