Children and Youth

CHILDREN AND YOUTH ARE INTEGRAL TO OUR SUNDAY WORSHIP SERVICE
Children and youth are always welcome in our worship service!  We believe children and youth are an important part of our community and we find every possible way for them to participate.  They sit with their parents in the service, join in Sunday School and/or serve as acolyte, read the scripture lessons, help with hospitality, assist in the classroom, help in the altar guild and more!

Checkout the 2019-2020 Youth Ministry Schedule.

Young people are encouraged to participate in worship by joining a Sunday Ministry where they can learn leadership skills, be mentored by adults and contribute to the worship service.

SEASONAL PROGRAMS
Special activities are offered during summer and seasons of the church such as Lent, Easter, Christmas, Advent, Pentecost Etc.  Check our Facebook site or the website homepage for more details.

CHILD SAFETY
All volunteers who work with children and youth are required to complete  a criminal background check and attend a training class on the awareness and prevention of child abuse. Normally, there are two trained volunteers during each event and in each Sunday School classroom.  Our church building has been designed with child safety and parent comfort in mind; all our rooms have glass panels to the hallway. Parents are encouraged to drop in and observe a class at any time.
