SUNDAY PROGRAMS

Nursery and Toddler Care
On Sunday mornings at the 10:00 a.m. service, children from newborn up through age 4 are cared for by trained childcare providers.  Age-appropriate Bible stories are shared and explored together and children enjoy free-play in our Noah’s Ark themed room.  The Nursery opens at 9:30 a.m. and children can stay until the end of the service.

Christian Formation
Children Pre-k through 12th-grade are excused from the worship service after the announcements and return mid-way through the service so they can participate in Communion and the remainder of our worship.

Disciples Class for Children 4 years old through 3rd grade

Apostles Class for Children in grades 4, 5 and 6

Jesus Squad Missionaries for youth in grades  7 to 12

AFTER CHURCH ACTIVITIES
Cookies and snacks provided after morning services. There is an enclosed play area for children through 3rd  grade and toys for lawn play for the older children. There is basketball playing area to the side of the church.

CHILD SAFETY
The safety of children during their church experience is very important to us. All teachers are required to have been actively attending Faith Church for at least six months, provide personal references, have a criminal background check, and attend a training class on the awareness and prevention of child abuse. Our church building has been designed with child safety and parent comfort in mind; all our rooms have glass panels to the hallway. Parents are encouraged to drop in and observe class at any time.

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL
For a week in early summer, Faith Church is transformed – past themes include the Serengeti, a fiesta, and a southern bayou! Our kids and their friends are off on an adventure of discovery of Jesus’ love. The program is open to kids from age 4 through 5th grade, with opportunities for leadership for older kids and adults in these areas: drama, music, games, arts and crafts, Bible stories and snacks.

If you are interested in helping with one of these programs please consider a First Serve opportunity, a way to try out your interests and gifts for ministry without a long-term commitment. Contact the church at (530) 676-5348 or send an email.
