Music is a vital component of Worship at Faith Church.

We strive to satisfy a wide variety of musical preferences. Many Selections are taken from the genre known as "Praise Music", with one or more selections chosen from the traditional hymnal almost every Sunday.

Rhonda Nelson, Faith Church Music Director, sings, plays the keyboard and conducts the choir and other musicians. Guitar, bass, and rhythm are often part of the musical program.

Rhonda has been the music director at Faith Church since 1999. We count ourselves very lucky to have her. She is an accomplished musician, composer and choir director. She has been involved in music for over 40 years. She owned a music business in Southern California before moving to Placerville in 1982. She now lives in Cameron Park. Her son, David, is a young adult and continues to live nearby. Rhonda also has a daughter, Patrice, who lives with her husband and Rhonda's four grandsons in Southern California.

Rhonda also teaches private piano lessons. She was the Choir Director at Latrobe Elementary School. She has been involved in Music Ministry at several churches in the area for the past 20-plus years. Her interest in music ranges from classical to contemporary. She has been involved in several musical productions with children, bringing the Word of God to His people through music.

Her goal is to share the deep presence of the Lord through her music.
