The Rector of Faith Church is The Rev. Kent S. McNair. He is married to Kathy Oji McNair and he and Kathy have two children: Ashley, who is now working towards a Master's degree to become a school psychologist and Cameron in his second year at Jr. College.

Fr. McNair has a Bachelor of Arts from Temple University, a Master of Divinity from Reformed Episcopal Seminary, a Master of Theology from Princeton Seminary, and a Doctor of Ministry from Fuller Seminary.

Fr. McNair is the founding minister of Faith Church. In 1991, he began meeting with a group of people interested in starting a new Episcopal Church in the Shingle Springs/Cameron Park/El Dorado Hills area. The interest, energy, and head count grew through planning and working stages, and Fr. McNair celebrated the first-ever public Eucharist at Faith on Easter Sunday in 1992.

Prior to starting at Faith Church, Fr. McNair served for 5 1/2 years as the Archdeacon of the Diocese (Bishop's Assistant). Prior to the Archdeacon position, he was on the clergy staff of Trinity Episcopal Cathedral in Sacramento. That ministry also lasted for 5 1/2 years.

Fr. McNair is available at the church's address and phone number, or via Email at the address shown above.
