The Rev. Liz Armstrong, ordained a priest at Faith Church, has served on
staff since August 2001. She is an Assistant to the Rector with a range of
responsibilities, including co-coordinating the Youth Group and adult small
groups, administrative tasks, pastoral care, preaching, and other sacramental
responsibilities.
Liz grew up in the Placerville area, graduating from El Dorado High School.
She earned a Masters degree in Audiology at CSU, Sacramento in 1983 and worked
for 18 years as an audiologist in private practice. Liz entered seminary in 1997
at Church Divinity School of the Pacific, graduating with an M.Div. degree in
2001.
Liz lives in Sacramento with her husband Tim who is an audiologist working in
his own private practice. Their oldest son works for the State Assembly in
Sacramento, and their younger son lives and works in the Sacramento area with
his wife and their three beautiful daughters. Liz and Tim enjoy frequent visits
with the grand-daughters.
